Resume

  • Innovative Projects Analyst
Housing and Community Development Representative II

    Data & Innovation Unit

As a basic human need, housing is one of the most important parts of any community, and how we plan for housing has wide reaching impacts on the environment, education, health, and the economy. HCD plays a critical role in the housing-planning process, which was designed to ensure that communities plan housing that meet the needs of everyone in California's communities. HCD works with each of the 538 regions to determine their housing needs, and then reviews every city and county's housing plan (the housing element of the general plan) to determine whether or not the plan complies with state law.

HCD helps to provide stable, safe homes affordable to veterans, seniors, young families, farm workers, people with disabilities, and individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
